More than 1500 professional and ancillary personnel at this 313 bed, full
service acute care facility, support over 200 physicians representing
nearly all known medical specialties.
Offering an impressive array of services and the very latest in medical
technology and equipment, CRMA houses centers of excellence that include
state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment in Craven Emergency Care, Craven
Cancer Center, Craven Heart Center, Coastal Rehabilitation, Crossroads
Adult Mental health Center and Craven Home Care. Outpatient needs
are met at two freestanding facilities, conveniently located near many
physicians' offices, Craven Diagnostic Center and Craven Surgery Center
and Craven Primary Care, located in Vanceboro, serves the western area of
the county.
The Naval Hospital at MCAS-Cherry Point provides comprehensive medical
services to active and retired military personnel and their dependents.
The Naval Hospital has 25 beds and 64 (including contracted) physicians on
staff.
